# Release status

BrowserDaddy is distributed directly for Mac, not through TestFlight.

## Current access

The public beta is a signed and notarized universal build for macOS 14 or later, free during early access. Browser access and active-tab evidence depend on macOS permissions and browser support. Private-window filtering is not yet release-qualified.

## What to test

Browser-history archiving, search, trends, foreground attention and permission visibility. Optional topic tagging sends selected browsing metadata to classifier.dev.

## Not included

Verified private-window exclusion, reconstructed historical attention, browser-history cleanup, device sync or remote monitoring.

## Product boundaries

- Requires macOS 14 or later
- Visits are not attention and past focus cannot be reconstructed
- Active-tab visibility depends on browser support and Automation permission
- Private-window filtering is not release-qualified
- Optional tagging transmits domain names, selected URL paths and page titles to classifier.dev
- No browser-history deletion, remote surveillance or device sync
